Jongno-gu, Seoul, announced on the 25th that it will present a free music performance to bring relaxation and vitality to its residents in celebration of spring.

The district will host the open concert "Ulrim" (Poster), which spans generations and genres, at Changsin Art Hall in Changsin-dong on the 30th. The percussion group Knocking, Nuevo Ensemble, and haegeum player Lee So-ye will present a diverse stage blending jazz and traditional Korean music. They plan to captivate the audience with familiar songs that can be enjoyed by all generations, such as "Flying Through the Deep Night" and "Amor Fati."

On the 3rd of next month, an outdoor classical concert titled "Jongno Music on Tour" will be held at the Cheongun Elementary School playground. Conductor Ham Shin-ik and the Symphony S.O.N.G Orchestra will participate, with soprano Oh Shin-young, violinist Song Ji-won, and bass Kim Dae-young performing as soloists. Approximately 40 orchestra members are scheduled to perform on a mobile wing truck stage. This performance will be held at the school playground to allow everyone to enjoy culture and the arts without any burden, and about 500 people, including local residents, Cheongun Elementary students, and parents, will attend.

District Mayor Jeong Mun-heon stated, "I hope this performance, prepared to mark the beginning of spring, will bring a sense of relaxation and vitality to our district residents," adding, "We will continue to consistently provide diverse opportunities so that everyone can enjoy culture and the arts in their local neighborhoods."
